    OK, this is my last post. I want to wash away the experience of dealing with this dope. He's terrified of people driving the car because of insurance evidently. So I asked if I could start the car, drive it back and forth 10 feet to make sure it runs and stops and let it idle so I know it won't overheat. This was unacceptable to him. And, of course, by this time we were relegated to calling each other names. I'm unchecking the "Notify me of replies." Good luck and GFYS..

    Ha! We're watching a mental meltdown on a freaking classified ad site. Seek help. I'm glad you posted this as a warning to reasonable people to keep as far away from you and your car as possible. I would be afraid to come see your car.

    Ha! So it actually exists? My dealings with the seller gave me the impression he was just trying to jerk people around. Best of luck to whomever manages to actually see this car.

    I anyone actually makes a deal with this loose cannon oldman, please post your experience. I guess he just hates the idea of a guy who lives an hour away trying to get a jump on other buyers by saying I'd bring cash. Totally mystifying experience.

    I posted our email thread word-for-word. What a goof. $4k for an unrusted running 2002 is a great deal as far as I'm concerned. And I would have paid it if oldman wasn't a lunatic. Good luck to anyone who has the guts to try to see this mythical 2002.

    Yeah, he's got some screws loose, I guess. I asked if I could start it and go back and forth 10 feet and let it idle and he had a problem with that. I can't imagine anyone getting to see this car, if it exists, that is.
