$65k euro. Very rare to see one in this condition for sale. It's easier to find a turbo.
Ha, I knew the 02 was 65k. I was asking how rare is the rear euro bumper with the license plate lights .
My bad,can see now how it could be taken the other way.

Beautiful car, I love the euro license plate lights on the rear bumper.
Should I even ask how rare and how much $$$ ?

When I owned my 73 tii the driver side door window shattered for no reason also.

As a novice when it comes to 02's,i love reading what has been pointed out on some of these cars.
If you want the big money it darn well should be correct, but the lower price cars it seems no one cares if numbers match or how many times its been painted. I love that part about it.

For me I hope so.

The four last 02's on BAT did not meet reserve. Also quite a few a eBay that I've been watching are no where close to what they want for them.I'm hoping it settles down some,

Very cool indeed, might have to stop in and check it out. Agree also, hope its roped off.

Hodgepodge, thank you. I caught the different grill I did not catch the newer nose sheetmetal.
So a newer front grill 74-76 wont fit a round tail light 02 ?
I was curious how a small dealership ended up with a 02. My concern was watching the body crumble before my eyes.

Not to mention the late nose on an early car ;-)
Educate me, are you talking about just the grill ? or front sheetmetal ?

Quite right!
My bad. Carry on.
Cheers,
Funny you say that. I saw a few of their ad's and eBay listings and got a bad feeling about the cars.
Their appears to be a nice tii in California for 19k. then the ad states guy in texas did the resto.
Oh well move on I guess

I wouldn't go near anything touched by Select Classics.
But you guys, go for it!
Cheers,
This wasn't the Select Classics car.

I got close on that one, bid up to $15,250; but the non-original color was a bit of a put off. Plus the buyer didn't recommend driving it 400 miles back home (but perhaps he just doesn't like road-tripping in 45 year-old cars). Either way, my search continues...
I saw your post on driving it back. I texted him about the undercarriage pic's. He didn't seem like much of a car guy I thought. 400 miles in a 2002 is a ways. No ??

I put a bid on the red 02. I was willing to spend up to 15k for it. I was pretty sure it would go for more.
Round tails, sunroof and red,my kryptonite. I thought the body looked really solid except for the body shop filling the seams on the front end and by the rear tail lights. Would of cost another $1200. to get it home.
Plus I have no room for it at the moment. Oh well the search continues.

Looked to be well sorted. Someone got a great car. I can't recall if I seen that color in person.
Otherwise I would have bid on it.
