  1. 1974 BMW 2002 for sale $6,750 I recently moved and lost my garage and storage – I just can't keep it. Car is generally stock and a great rolling project! Really in good shape for as old as it is. Clean Oregon title. Looks good, paint is driver quality – not show quality. Pictures show both good and bad. Floor pans repaired/replaced. New ANSA exhaust. New Esty carpet kit and butyl sound dampening. BMW Recaros. Older style chrome bumper conversion. New heater defroster motor. Heater re-cored and heater valve rebuilt. IE radiator hose set ready to install. Old bumper shocks included if you want to go back to big bumpers. Car cover included. All fluids changed w/in the past 2K miles. New fuel line from tank to Holley 32/36 fitted to stock air cleaner body with K&N filter. Some extra parts. Fridgeking console and compressor, mounting bracket, and incomplete set of AC parts if you want to got that way. Door lock cylinders need replacement (see photos). The board has been a great source of info for me. I'm offering here before posting in other locations and am hoping someone here can enjoy this car as much as I have. Let me know if you have questions. PM through the site with questions, specific pics, or to set up a time to look.
  2. Just moved to Eugene - who in the area is good with the BMW 2002? Thanks, ds
  3. Anyone have a phone number for IE other than the one posted on the website (626-359-7674)? Trying to contact them, but their phone number no worky. Nor, are they answering emails. Thanks, ds
  4. The ring should be spot welded on the trans tunnel. I - can't paste a pic
  5. Looking for a lip ring for the shifter boot from an older 2002. Got the floors patched and like the look of the car with no console. PM, or post with a price including shipping to zip 99201 (Spokane, WA). Thanks, Dennis
  6. Fairly new 2002 owner - my first, learning a lot. Floor pans are almost replaced - time to work on the mechanics. Looking for opinions - 1) What is a fair price for an m10 + getrag 240 5 speed out of an 84 318i? 2) other than needing a driveline made, are there any other issues I should consider? Thanks
  7. Still available - make an offer. I'm moving later this year and need to empty the garage.
  8. Bumpers - last chance before I sell for scrap. Accodians are in decent shape. Bumpers are straight and in good shape for 40+ years. Make an offer.
  9. I may get in touch. How much are you asking? I may be in Eugene in a few weeks - you are along the way. Thanks!
  10. I'm in Spokane - prefer to pickup. Shipping could cost. Anyway, took mine out to clean/refurbish. Found why the cab smells like gas - some holes showed through once I started cleaning. Or, if you have a line on a vendor with one, pm me. Thanks, Dennis
  11. I'm in Spokane, WA. Title says it all. Restoring a 2002 I found last year. Fuel tank I have is may be repairable, but I'd prefer a better tank. Prefer pickup since shipping could be steep. Or, if anyone knows a source for new tanks pm me. Thanks, Dennis
  12. Bump. Winter is coming to a close - time to think about spring projects. Entertaining offers.
  13. Not gonna make it - snow gonna keep me in Spokane. Seattle2002tii - I have a bumper, let me know if you are interested and I can send you pics....
  14. If one is bad - the rest probably aren't far behind.... Where in Eastern WA? Are you? Not too many old BMWs on the dry side.
  15. Don't know if they are the same, but I have a set of '74 stock seats. recovered with non-stock material, but in pretty good shape.....
  16. I hope the weather is good. If it is, I'll come from Spokane just to pick through everyone's sale parts since I am early in a refresh.....
  17. thanks for the idea - but replacing a 40+ year old wiring harness with another 40+ year old wiring harness hardly seems like an improvement. Just saying.
  18. http://www.sears.com/usa-auto-harness-usa-auto-harness-sm235552-bmw/p-SPM13629504519?SID=IMxdCx-MPAutomotive-V2-activeusers&utm_medium=2706_92012_MPAutomotive Anyone know anything about this kit? Good, bad? Thanks in advance for any input.
  19. bump - still available.
  20. Stock seats - that have been recovered in tweed-like fabric. Great candidate for stock restoration if recovered. Pretty good condition, but not perfect. Includes seat rails. Local pickup strongly preferred. Located in Spokane, WA Interesting trades for 2002 parts considered. $300 cash. I can email ore pics
