I am new to this forum and recently picked up a 72 Inka orange 2002. I have wanted one for many years and finally found a decent project. The motor in the car is smoking and the compression numbers are not good. Last year I purchased a wrecked e21 with a Modified Century turbo kit ( Turbonetics turbo, Volvo CIS, intercooler, 5th injector wot fuel enrichment, built top end etc..). I kept the complete motor, 5 speed trans and the 3.91 lsd knowing I would be buying a roundie 02 soon and it would be a fun project, however I don't know if it would fit. Mainly the steering linkage and passenger motor mount situation looks like it is not going to be possible. I was hoping to find someone that has tried this before that could shed some knowledge, I work at a shop so I have a lift and every tool known to man available to me, but I don't want to hack up my car too much. I am also not opposed to just selling the turbo kit and doing some Weber DCOE's on the good motor but I would like to have the turbo setup. Any help would be appreciated
