Just so you know, the spring in your photo is installed upside down. Hence the rub marks on the cam.

If it doesn't work out, let me know. Hope they are not bending you over!

Do you want my badge number? Tail light panel for turbos was different from regular 02s, to accommodate bigger exhaust tubing size, and the center exit exhaust was fairly late in the run, post 1100 or 1200 VIN. Also unlike stock later 02s, turbos did not have the uncut, trimmed hole on the right. You are totally correct about the yellow chromate clamps!! Also trunk flooring panels were not covered with Elephant skin, but we're painted gray and there was a rubber mat on top. Could have filled those extra drilled holes in the bulkhead while it was being painted, for 110,000. Buy it Now!
Just saying.

Nice car, but said no crash damage or rust, taillight panel is incorrect for the VIN, exhaust should be side exit. Trunk has no body schutz, or texture on wheel arches and looks as if trunk floor was replaced as well. Any comments?

Hello, a thought on your "bog". Looking down into the carb throats, you will see the auxiliary venturis. They go across the throat and distribute fuel after throttle position passes idle circuit. Wiggle them and see if they are loose. If they are, this will cause the bog you refer to. They are retained in place by 6mm grub screws with slotted heads through the side of the carb. If they are loose, remove the screws and reinstall them with loctite. Do not over tighten or they will distort. You may have to remove the carb top to facilitate or hold them in place with needle nose pliers so they dont fall into the throat when you remove the screws. Good luck!

Besides the LUX wood the rear seat is also incorrect. It appears to have a LUX rear seat with center armrest. The seat seams are vertical but should match the pattern of the fronts.
