Sadly, I have decided not to do an M2 project on my 72' 2002 and therefore I will be selling a completely and beautifully rebuilt S14 engine. I will have a complete technical spec sheet written up, but in the meantime, here is what has been done. I am a layman and may not use correct jargon, but my engine builder (Rick Ramsey of Saint Louis, MO.) will be accessible for all your questions. VIN WBSAK0303KAE33329. I have also placed this sale on S14.net. The engine was sourced locally in Saint Louis, it had spun a rod many years ago and was sitting on a pallet. I purchase the engine almost complete...sans the transmission. We completely disassembled the engine and sent it off to Rick for the rebuild. We decided to replace the crankshaft with a used but clean unit. The block was bored 1 over. Installed new Carillo Pistons Installed new IE Forged H-Beam conrods ARP main and bearing bolts All new bearings and gaskets Original cams Cometic cylinder head gasket New OEM water pump New OEM timing kit, new timing chain, rails, tensioner New OEM distributor New Motorsport exhuast cam gear...for increased torque. Rebuilt and cleaned throttle bodies with gasket repair kit New OEM sparkplug guide/rail Baffled oil pan Powdercoated valve cover and air accumulator New freeze plugs Everything is balanced Most parts sourced from Turner Motorsport or Ireland Engineering Engine will include: Complete wiring harness Original ECU Oil filter housing Starter- havent checked it Original Exhaust manifold Original fuel injectors and rail (not serviced yet) Original flywheel (not lightened) Misc. cooling system parts Misc. brackets There may be more...please ask questions and you can talk directly to my engine builder. Rick has been building BMW performance and race engines for decades. We can also get references. The engine is essentially brand new and ready to go. It would ship, crated from 63132.
