Hello Grice,
I hope this Sunday finds you well.... If the intake manifold is still available for the carb. I picked up from you yesterday then I'll take it. I'll be working in Arlington tomorrow if that works for you.
Thanks,
Dudley

Yes..... I have these tires in the 205 50 15 versions and I run them hard in the rain and snow and they have been surprisingly good tires for the poor quality of DC roads.

The last time I bought from German Ebay I went to my bank and wired the funds after the seller gave me his banking information but I had to pay the banks transfer fee of 25.00. The other problem is that the Euro just kicks the dollars butt.... so by the time you factor all that plus shipping ouch !!!!!

Go to the CVS or your local grocery store and get some Goo Gone let it soak in and the adhesive will peel off with no harm done to the grills.

I replaced my clutch master back in Dec. of last year after a lot of fluid leak yikes... It was in the high teens outside what a pain ! I got the old one out pretty easily but putting that metal tube in the new one and then running it under the car and having it pop out and then getting brake fluid in my eye while bleeding it by myself.... Jumping out of airplanes was much easier.

Thanks to you all..... It looks like my center link, tie rod ends, and bushings will get changed out for new stuff when the warm weather gets here.

Today I just had it..... It was time to find my clunk when I turned the steering wheel. The steering guide arm that comes from the steering box and attaches to the rack and pinion which is held on by a nut is the problem. Is there a washer or something that goes in there to keep it from moving or should I just snug the bolt down ? I did a search and everything but this is covered.
Thanks in advance

Ok I'm out, I just pulled the lock from the trunk and no numbers stamped on the cylinder except B112 on the part that seems to close from the key.

I would love to be able to lock the boot I will check the number and post today.
Thanks, Dudley

I can confirm this. And as long as you have your box out already you should diffinatley change the two (-+) wires from inside your box to your new motor to get the maximum speeds from fan.

Yesterday I decided to rebuild my heater box with my friend Jay Swift (redskinsjbs) the cool Opel guy on a 2002 forum
before old man winter hits the DC area. I have taken the box out to oil the fan and flush the core with water several time before with just average results but this time I just said enough is enough I want heat this winter so I bought a new fan motor from Autoparts Warehouse for $ 117.95 and took the core to a local radiator shop to have it cleaned for $ 30.00 . Jay and I cleaned the box installed the new fan motor and installed the cleaned core. We followed the FAQ write up which is excellent and we also decided to replace the old wires from inside the box that power the fan motor. Well my fellow 02ers my heat now rivals that of new cars. I would say that oiling my old fan and just using water/vinegar to clean the core worked at about 30% at best . So the moral of my story is that if you want real heat and your about to rebuild your box the money you spend on these two parts will change your cold weather driving experiences for ever. Happy Motoring !!!!
Idler Arm bushing
in BMW 2002 and other '02

Hello everyone and Happy Easter,
I'm in the process of replacing my center link, tie rods and the idler arm bushing. My question is.... I removed my old idler arm bushing and they are black with groves that match the inside of the idler arm and the new ones are the blue plastic ones will these work on what I have ? They seem wider
Thanks,
Dudley
