    Guys, Finally got the part numbers from the transmissions. The one I am told is a 5-speed reads: 4.1 225 242.0.325.00 Onee that came in the car reads: 43 225 232.01.7001 So, who can tell me what they are? Thanks, Ken

    I have two part number s I am trying to use to identify the engine (1255223 and 15F76) and the tranny (003853BN). Can anyonetell me what I have, or where I can find the info? Thanks,

    Well, being new to this BMW 2002 arena, I am not sure how to tell what parts I have. My project came with three (3) transmissions. Two (2) of these are Getrag's and the third is a brand new still in the crate automatic. How can I determine which Getrag I have?

    Received a 1976 2002 from my son for Fathers Day. Car is in pieces and parts. Been stored for over 5 years. Looks like everything is there, but... the previous owner had started an engine tear down, and ALL the bolts for the engine are missing...nowhere to be found. Looking for all required hardware and overhaul/rebuild kits. Thanks, Ken Olivet, MI
