Ron, FYI.... I sent you an email earlier on this.... -Chris
Excuse me? My name is not Ron, as mentioned I am not the owner. It might have been posted up by owner and I missed it but figured I would be helpful if it was not.
My name is Greg.

1972 BMW 2002 Vin#2579773 Brown/Brown For Sale Good for parts or project car. Lots of spare mechanical and electrical parts from two other cars. Also, with 9 years of the Boston chapter newsletter BIMMER (June 80 - June 89) and a Complete reprinted BMW 2002 shop manual. Prefer to sell all for $750/BO. Can be seen west of Boston. (128 & Ma Pike) Ron C. rcegis.net (781) 894-7159 approved on May 28, 2009
Might be worth it as sum of parts, unsure. Some day I'll own another.

A bit expensive I think at $450 but hey what do I know. Usable? You make the judgement call.

Good amount of parts on this car!
For sale is a 77' 320i, rebuilt 2.0l engine, upgraded to a 5 speed manual, Recaro seats, Momo wheels, Weber carb, Nardi wheel, runs well but does need work. Sat for a year before I bought it, but with a new battery and a tune-up it starts right up. The transmission and clutch are strong, it has a header but needs header back exhaust. It needs some minor body repair, the driver's tail lamp is broken and there's a small dent just below it. It has a few very small spots of repairable surface rust. Floors, rockers, doors, and undercarriage are all solid. Overall a very solid vehicle with lots of potential! I've acquired another project so this one must go. Give me a call or email if intersted. Thanks for looking! Rod 860-287-0522

What the restoration shop in CT that does alot of cars? I know they just moved so they are thinning their loot.
They had an 02 for sale as well.
Sports Car Restoration I think it was?

Diesel crank would be from Eu. Ordered thru Blunt or a dealer.

Now you can say I did the work! Versus saying I paid someone to wrench my car.
Congratulations

So your going coil on plug design. Very nice what engine management do you plan to use?
I can't agree with you totally on the S14 comment as mine has 281K miles and starts all the time. But requires more maintenance than a M4X. Any thoughts on going 2.1L for a killer combo, Tq the M42 lacks and Hp.

Insert mad face here as I was told I had to fly this week, even thou I had asked for time off just so i could attend O-fest.
It was the one time it was close and had time to attend.

Your car pics are unaltered. It was taken from inside my M3 which it and my other BMW's were on the far side of the building. I only noticed your car on the way out back to work.
I had to do a double back and reverse. I wanted pics but was running late. I was gonna jump out and shoot more.
I am glad you enjoyed New England. It has a lot to offer.
I don't think I could have driven this many miles over the summer.

Any plans for a stop out at WGI for O-fest. I was late for a brief so I couldn't head back in to find out who it was.
I was doing the flyby for the airshow.

California tag in Massachusetts stands out like a sore thumb. Also I see a Blue Naval officer sticker, retiree?
Very nice car surprised you did not notice mine on the other side of the building.
This was at The Residence Inn at West Springfield, Ma.

Think....I'll leave my M with you so you can fix here for me. Haha. I got an estimate for paint the other day, shop said NO way. We didn't have time for non-insurance work, as they have a bunch of classic muscle cars in various states of restoration work.
Shame as they paint with Silkkens and that what I wanted. Car is looking excellent. Did I hear you correct when we talked saying you were using an M3 rear seat?
I guess it's less visual than a 635csi rear. So with winter fast approaching she'll be done? ready for Haggerty's insurance for stated value and show circuits correct?

S54 still out of my budget right now, Might stick S52 in it thou and considering a 6 spd for it too.
You sold your swapped car Hope it went to a good family and a R3Ver doesn't kill it.
Are you gonna make O fest? RoyW is with his Inka...maybe you should consider?
-
Over the top on that one, the seats look fantastic, who did those ones for you? Rob S, Kevin Chin or?
Will it be completed in time for Vintage Fest at LRP or better yet are you attending this year with a car?
