  1. Keep me in mind. I currently have a very smokey engine and would having something with a little more power.

Marshall's current M10 is a nice, smooth powerful engine. The valvetrain is very quiet (even with a Schrick 292 cam). I would buy it if I needed another non-tii engine and had the room to store it.

This is the motor I built way back in '01-'02 for the malaga 73 that it came in. Whoever got it - let me know, as I have all receipts for parts (new .050 over Mahle 9.5:1 pistons, Schrick 292, Schrick HD valve springs), machine work (John Spindler) and head work (Eric Kerman). Also had tons of receipts for the other stuff - suspension, brakes, etc. I never got these to Rob, who bought the car from me in the summer of 2007 before selling to Marshall.

Would love to hook up with whoever got the motor, as I put a lot of money and love into it (before eventually neglecting the car for the last coupe years as flyfishing took over the addictive part of my feeble brain).

  2. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind checking this out for an old FAQer like me? Would be greatly appreciated...

Of paramount concern is body. Can do body work, welding, etc but not interested in doing much. Mechanicals, that I'll be tinkering with anyway.

    Thanks

  3. The Bills have quite a reputation these days. Well deserved, indeed.

Berger did that car? I remember when Malley was driving it. What a fine example. That's a great little score.

Got the spey rod out for a bit yesterday but the tide was outgoing and the shad went with it. And sorry for the hijack...

  4. I'll be a "free" man for the next 2 months or so. Look for me in the next few weekends! I'll stop by and eat up some of your time.

benetton- I'm trying hard to get out to Portland for a long weekend, but we're going to take a trip to more tropical climes during my wife's one week hiatus. Should be bonefish on the menu. If all goes well, we will be living out your way (Portland, anyway) for about 8 years come next June. HOPEFULLY! If anything changes re: our plans to get out to the PNW anytime between now and spring, I'll let you know.

Anyone heard from Reg BigDog lately?

take it easy guys and gals, if you need parts email me: mromeo AT jhsph DOT edu

  5. ...this place gets repopulated!

stopping in to say "hey" and that yes, my old '73 is still sitting in the garage waiting for divine inspiration to take over. I have a fever, and the only medicine is more flyfishing. so the 02 sits idly by but hell, at least it's not getting much worse.

I still have tons of parts that are free to good homes - so if you're around MD give me a holler.
