Hi,
I have a 1967 1600GT matching numbers car that I enjoy driving, not polishing. It currently runs with twin 40 DCOE's and a 292 Schrick. The rings need replacement and while I was at it, I thought about further enhancements. Would you mind offering your advice? I'd like to get it to 140HP. Would porting intake and exhaust manifolds and going to 10:1 CR do it in your opinion? Also, do you know of a source for the pistons? As you know, it's currently running 9.5:1 stock ti. I love the engine for all the qualities you've documented. I just got back from a 2 thousand mile round trip to The Vintage in Asheville. Thanks for your help, Chris Auty
