  1. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago. My problem was a bad battery and alternator/regulator. But what really is bad in my car, I still havn't found yet, a drain in my circuit! But my problem then was a bad alternator. Good luck, electrical problems SUCK!

  2. Hey, you don't seem to respond to my emails, so maybe your email provider rejects mine or something.

Anyway, I'd like to know more about that single sidedraft manifold, I might be interested in trading my DCOM's for it. Let me know the details about it.

If I don't hear from you by Friday, i'm just going to sell them to a guy that is interested in buying.

    Thanks,

    Bryan

  3. THere is a car on ebay that might be in my price range that I would like to get, but its waaay far away from me and I couldn't go pick it up right now. I was just checking to see if there was anyone in New Jersey that I could trust with picking it up and actually had the room to keep it for me till I could fly out there and drive it back.

This is just a check to see if anything would actually work out.

    Let me know

    Thanks,

  4. So I found out that I can try and narrow down the drain on my battery by hooking up a little light bulp between the + terminal of the battery and the cable, and then the drain will light it up, so then you go and pull fuses untill the light goes out and then you can narrow down where to look.

Problem is, the light won't light up, so I have no idea where to look. I bought a Digital volt meter, but i'm not really sure where to start looking, and don't I need to have on lead at one exposed end of the wire, and the other at the other end? Problem is you can't get to most ends of the wires at both ends with a DVM.

I need you guys to help an idot out, this is really frustrating and I don't want to ruin ANOTHER battery and have to go through this again.

    Thanks for your help,

    Bryan

  5. So I have this reoccurring electrical problem that strikes in the winter each year, and it pisses me off because each time I think i've fixed it. Problem is my car keeps F'ing up batteries, basically I go through 1 a year, quite sad. I've replaced the alternator and regulator almost as much. So i'm pissed and ready to fix it for good.

-Problem is, I don't know where to check, what to look for etc.! Could it purely be bad grounds..... I don't really know, you can hopefully tell me. I guess the best thing I could use is a check list of places to go through, what to check for etc. If I should do any ohm/voltmeter stuff, let me know.

I hope you can help, because I'm just about nuts from this stupid gremlin!

    THanks a lot,

  6. So i'm thinking about megasquirting (tired of the crappy fuel mileage etc, poor starting in cold, with DCOE's)

Should I go for the Megasquirt II, or just Megasquirt? Will the added bennefits of Megasquirt II apply to me?

I'm thinking of doing Sportbike Individual throttle bodies, and probably doing Alpha N if I do go this route.

Its about a $60 difference, so I don't want to spend money on something I don't need.

    Thanks,

  7. For some reason the topic you have is locked, so I can't reply. But I had a link for you for a cheap fuel rail extrusion..

    http://www.rossmachineracing.com/extrusion.html

Some advice, you might want to figure out how to radius those stacks, or try new ones. That radius is VERY critical to performance.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing as my DCOE's puke gas out the exhaust and i'm just fed up with them. I was wondering how much you've spent, what all on, and if you are planning on using megasquirt for this. Will you do MAP, or Alpha N for it?

    Thanks,

    Bryan
