Shortening Bumpers link ..anyone? anyone? Mintgrun?

I did a search on shortening big bumpers to get a bit more info on cutting the bellows. The first half (drilling thru the shocks) was easy. Now I wanna know what's used to mate the belows back together.

Anywho as young as this board is my search showed a good handful of posts on the topic. I even discovered that Mr. Mintgrun

is the man with the plan. The links to the directions he made up are not working. I even tried the other board. (would you believe that their search is down? ..again) ..now that I think about it I coulda wrote down Mint's addy yesterday and mailed him directly for the info but going back into search just for his address would be kind of a waste of time. So instead I'll post and see what comes back. Maybe Mint would be gracious enough to lend his words on the subject to this sites FAQ section. hint hint
