BayArea 02 Swap & Show, 4 May 2024, Marina at Brisbane, California. Please preregister on Motorsportreg starting on 17 March. Preregistration is $25 until 27 April (when preregistration closes) while the on-site fee on 4 May will be $30. Graphic artist Kile Brekke designed our T-shirts and printed materials again this year and as you see they look excellent! Please preregister early to help us plan. We will have a named bag for each preregistrant.

Post Swap and Show "Tacos and Beer Party" is back! Let's eat some Tacos and drink some beer after the big BayArea02 Event. Bring yourself. Nothing else is needed. We have several beds, a couple of air beds, lots of couches, and floor space if you want to stay the night. Many have done this in the past. The last time we managed to fit 12 cars in the driveway and the rest at the bottom of the hill. I think we can do better than that 🙂 I think 17 is the magic number.

Speedo Cable attachment at transmission 2000c 4 speed
On my 2000c whatever connects the speedo cable to the transmission fell out and I can't fiqure out if it is a bolt or some kind of pin?
'74 tii stumbles at part throttle
Hoping you, the 2002 wisdom sphere, can help me out a little. I just got my '74 back on the road (again), and it starts and idles pretty well, but has an annoying issue. When it's dead-dead cold, it accelerates smoothly and all seems well. But once it gets any heat into the engine whatsoever, it will miss and stutter, especially under part throttle. If I blip it from idle to 2,000 rpm or so at a stoplight, it'll backfire a bit. The pump linkages are all adj

Turn signal light turn signal light turns on steady when I accelerate. All turn signals work accordingly goes on and off periodically when I turn the turn signal switch on the light turn off.

Towing it home...
I recently acquired a 69 2002 with an unusual history. This car was converted to electric in the 90s and slowly updated through the 2000's and 2010's until I bought it with a DC Brushed motor, Lithium Phosphate battery and controller capable of 100+kw. The acquisition of the car was a bit of a project, and I made it more of one by getting married in Vegas on the trip from Illinois to LA. New Shoes
I finally pulled the trigger on a new set of wheels & tires. The Borbet's that have been on the car for years were supposed to be temporary, but as priorities shifted they stuck around. I never really liked them, and they definitely do not fit the style of a 2002.. Yesterday I found some 14x6 Mahle BBS RA119's with tires (185/60/r14) on Facebook market place and jumped on the deal. I'm quite happy to report that my 2002 runs again! I was able to get her started early last week and have been going through the tuning software to optimize VE targets & timing etc. BMW 2002 ITBs" width="200">
