I bought this car new in late 1971 from a dealer in Canton, Ohio. I moved with the car to Tucson, AZ in 1974 for grad school. I moved to Macon, GA in 1975 with the car for a job. I traded the car to the Macon BMW dealer in approximately 1979. I was told it was painted black by the next owner. 02Les says the car appeared in Alexandria, VA in 2000, painted red.
