    August 12, 2019. This is a preservation project rather than a restoration.  It's back to all original, period correct parts with the exception of an electric fuel pump and a Volkswagen windshield washer pump.  I put  14" E30 bottlecaps on but I still have all 5 original 13" steel rims and hub caps.

     

    Not sure where the project goes next but I would like to take the car on a longer trip to the coast, a grueling 600 miles over the Rockies and back.  What could go wrong, eh?.
