Ordered by T&T BMW in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and shipped to Alpina for modification before shipping to Canada (one of two cars so ordered). Modifications included 165 HP DIN motor with dual Weber 45DCOE with Alpina airbox, Stahl large bore headers, Alpina head with 301 degree billet cam, 10.2:1 compression, light flywheel, 40% limited slip differential, ventilated front disc brakes, Alpina three gauge dash pod, Alpina rollbar, adjustable rear subframe, Alpina springs, Alpina round hole steel wheels with centre caps. Member mongo3251 subsequently installed a close ratio 5 speed transmission.
