This 1967 BMW 1600 was purchased in San Diego, CA by my brother Danny Quigley on August 28, 1984 - nearly 38 years ago.
From paperwork I am finding on the vehicle it appears and is possible Danny Quigley is possibly the 3rd owner and it has been recently transferred to Nevada.
Unique only to the very early cars, this 1600 has the ultra-rare 10-spoke grill with the surround center kidney grill as well.
In March 1966 the 1600 was introduced on BMW's 50th anniversary, and it begins production in April. VIN's begin at 1500001 runs through 1533857 at 1967 model years end.
Approximately 2000 sold in the U.S., mostly '67's.
