Not wanting to rehash any previous posts (i did do a quick search)....
I have a set original sliders. They were in rough shape, but managed to get them moving. Still crunchy...but passable. One however was having none of it and as I tried to free it from its solid state, decided to jettison the roller and a few of the ball bearings. Now this is the slide that is not the "tooth" side.
I did see a write up from a use that rehabbed a "toothed" slider, but I can't figure our for the life of me how i am going to get the ball bearings back in. I struggled for a while then gave up.
Anyone have any insight. Then...
Which led me to the thought - is there not a universal slider that i can use instead? Has anyone installed something like this below? Anyone use anything like this?
