First off want to say thanks for all the wealth of information found here, old an new. My journey here began last April when I bought my 2002. It was a runner but needed some attention. Needless to say the "while I got this apart" phenomena took over and well as you can see from the pictures, it's all apart which bring me to making this post.
While it's all apart, decide to tackle the heater box and install the heater valve replacement bracket. However, some genius decided to silicone glue the box in place so taking out in one piece may be impossible. I am looking for a good used, or rebuildable, or even just a good shell of a heater box.
I am in the Sacramento area and can pickup near by.
