    Thank you for all the replies, maybe I will check all the stuff first. I am in SF Bay Area so there is probably couple decent shops for 2002s. but everything is very expensive around here. I checked 2002AD and they have 36/32 kit with water choke for a reasonable price, i wonder if they can jet it too. But ill see if i can trouble shoot first thank you for all the replies

    thank you for quick reply, just to make sure the automatic choke on solex is not repairable? as it runs great otherwise. Car has very low miles. if i do convert to electric choke what is involved? Problem is that car is in the "normal" shop, so I am trying to avoid adventures of "normal" shop setting carb etc:)))

    Hi everyone! I have 1975 BMW 2002, with 2 barrel stock solex carb. Automatic choke (water) seems to have broke and it seems that most people prefer to replace it with weber carb instead. I have been looking into that as well, I believe my Solex is water adjusted, and I was wondering if someone can recommend 36/32 kit that is mostly plug and play. I am not planning to modify the car so something that has proper jets for stock and needs little to no adjustment is wanted. I found company called Korman, but they haven't been answering the calls at all. so maybe someone can recommend good place to buy a 36/32 kit, as much plug and play as possible for stock 1975 2002 thank you!
