Nice! Just got here recently myself. Mine is also a '72, color is Sahara. Taking care of several typical maintenance / minor restoration items now and having a blast.

Thanks Steve! I sent an email to the BMW Group about a week ago and got a reply that they were not operating currently due to a relocation, however I will try again. I will add the window sticker to the Registry now as well.

Well, guess what, later this morning I did get a reply! -
The BMW 2002 US VIN 2583798 was manufactured on June 22nd, 1972 and delivered on June 27th, 1972 to the BMW importer Hoffman Motors Corp. in New York City. The original colour was Sahara, paint code 006.
