  1. Hello everyone! Hope the new year is going well so far! Travis has a Rotrex C30/C38 variant of this same kit now under development. Here is the latest video of what hes doing. As well as a teaser of a M20 engine kit that is in the works. The new Rotrex based kits will be able to deliver a ton more power, as if already the recent 100% HP increase on the stock M10 engine was not enough. (as seen on video from last year using the M65) On a side note, we do have the O.T. M10 Kits now in the shelves ready to ship out. 😁👍 The latest installation guide is also coming.
  2. Finally, Here is an Update with a Dyno. The car makes around 163 RWHP (Stock was 82RWHP) at only 5.5 PSI. So thats near 200 Engine Crank HP. These engines have a lot of potential if they are EFI and have a standalone unit. The Tuning was done at Fullnoise Performance in Australia. Here is a in dept video of whats been done and involved. Some kits are already in stock to be shipped out from November. Thanks for your support and encouraging words everyone. We finally did it! 😄👍 An Rotrex C15/C30/C38 version of this kit is planned as well as a M20 Supercharger kit is also under works.
  3. Merry Christmas and Much Awaited Updates We have 4 prototypes that are with the designer and engineer, Travis in Australia. He will be testing them out and then ship them out to those who ordered the prototypes. Once that is all done, we will move into the next stage, which would be production a small batch of the finished product.
  4. we are making a custom machined crank pulley that will separate the SC drive, also included in the kit. later on we will also design a trigger wheel for it for advanced fuel injected tuning (for those of you who want that). The boost is a matter of restriction and accounting for the efficiency of a positive displacement blower, the M45 and M62 types are not bad at all. But we will only reveal the numbers and such details once the next updates of the new system is available. Give us a couple months and we will be back for you lovely people!
  5. Its ready for production next month, due to the recent war in European borders and lock downs in china, production and shipments has been a night mare so we had to delay it quite a few months instead of the original March 2022 schedule. Someone from USA who I wont name, is going to be receiving the first kit for his 2002 BMW.
  6. Thanks! Its just a beginning on the M10 Platform, we will prefect it for the 2002 chassis when we are finished with the finals. May even need some testers to try it on a 2002 platform
  7. Here is the topic guys, a build log as promised.
  8. Hello Everyone, This thread will be dedicated to the build log of our BMW M10 engine supercharger project, that we plan to make available for the BMW 2002 & E30 fans. The project is called O.T. M10 (Old Timer) lead by Hyde Motor Works and designed by a big time enthusiast in Australia, Travis. We have been working on it slowly since last year. For those of you who don't know of Hyde Motor Works, we are a newer player to the game and we develop supercharger kits and setups. We have the largest displacement supercharger kits on the engines we have developed them for (The M5x, S5x an M4x) and currently we are doing a few other projects including a V8 project and such. More information and pictures of our work is available at http://hydemotorworks.com/ Back to the O.T. M10, right now it will support an Eaton M45 and in the future we plan to make it support the Eaton M45 variants, as well as the Eaton M62 and the Ogura Clutch/Wankel SC12 and SC14 superchargers. The setup uses an alternator from the BMW M50/M52 and has a custom bracket that allows you to mount the supercharger onto the engines side without much trouble. Right now it is being built around an E30 but we are still in prototype stages, after which we will be testing it on the BMW 2002 as well. Essentially we want to give you the ability to find your own supercharger and use our kit to bolt it all on and go. Here are some quick pictures of the work so far while we were trying to measure the right belt sizes, just testing out with wooden mock outs, soon the first working prototype will be built out of metal and CNC along with a custom crank pulley, once all things check out, we will release these kits to public while we work on the M20 and M30 Engines using larger superchargers. Some pictures are attached below, and here is a video that is going to premiere in a few days on our YouTube channel. Let me know your thoughts, what are your power goals and such. If we have enough interest we will make these kits public and our kits are usually very reasonably priced. Warm Regards, Hyde from Stuttgart, Germany
  9. If you mean the Eaton setup for the M4x engines then here it is, still under development but this is with another of our engineers. I didn't know there were so much enthusiasm for these 4 cylinder engines, I myself fell in love with the little revvy 4 cylinders. If its okay then let me attach some pictures and show you below. There are 2 kits below, the ones you see in roughness are project WM Designs 456, to be released. and the other one done you see are the previous MOAB variants, prototypes that are now almost sold out. The newer design is better and will be released next year. Everybody these days just goes for a engine swap, we need more people to try them out, show some love to these 4 cylinders.
  10. Hi, with which kit? do you mean the V4 MOAB 4 Cylinder (M42/M43/M44)? or you mean the BMW 2002 and E30 M10 kit?
  11. Thanks everyone, yea I will likely have to post this later on tonight or tomorrow in between work. There will also be a nice video on that topic detailing what has been done and how its to be installed. It will be jam packed with info. Yes we do, we have been offering kits for the M42, M43 and M44 engines for over 2 years now, we have the largest kit ever built for those engines using a 1.4L blower. If you like you can get more info on those here: https://hydemotorworks.com/products-and-supercharger-setups/v4-moab-kit-overview/ There is also a Eaton based kit coming later this year or early next year.?
  12. Hi Tom, Definitely I will likely today or tomorrow have a dedicated thread on this topic, the setup is a bit wide as its in prototype stages, we had plans for bigger superchargers, We will soon enough need some testers on a 2002 platform.
  13. Hey guys! Thanks for the kind welcome, yes I would love to start a dedicated topic on supercharging this engine, You see, we originally had a project for the 6 Cylinder BMW's and 6 years later after the project was released to public, we have been making supercharger kits for the M5x and S5x as well as the 4 Cylinder BMW M4x Engines. And from this year we decided to start something for the old timers that made it all happen, The M10, M20 and M30 engines. We have built some of the largest supercharger kits for the BMW Engines, and our kits are available under the Hyde Motor Works brand. I didn't want to post any links until I introduced myself and also in case it upsets someone here. ? I will put some videos of below. So on to the the M10 Engine will have its own supercharger kit that will allow you to get an additional 100HP or more and you can use 4 different superchargers (depending on what is available in your local market). The idea is essentially something for the purists and those considering some engine swap, to just use a bolt on supercharger and get more potential from the old M10. We have been keeping this undercover for a year now, but decided now its time...In the end of the day, we are enthusiasts and I think work should be shared so others can benefit from it, essentially we would like to show the work that's been done and see how much interest there is. Here is a picture including one of the M10 engines development. I hope you like our work. With your blessings I would start a thread about it and such, we plan to release it as a affordable kit in the near future and perhaps we can find some testers here as well. ☺️ Warm Regards, Hyde from Stuttgart, Germany.
  14. Hello everyone! Greetings from Germany. Hope you are all doing well during these times. I joined this forum as we have been recently working on a special project for the BMW M10 engine, specially for the BMW 2002. I was interested to see how many people were interested and wanted to do a project log. We have so far built supercharger kits for the M5x, and M4x Engines and only started to venture into the world of the classics that started it all :)
