  1. @d.hitchcock thanks. Yes I have that book and blue plastic cover as well. @kiva667 that’s so interesting. I not sure if it was Art either, as he hasn’t mentioned this to me. I’ll send you a direct message and we can discuss directly. Many thanks! george
  2. @d.hitchcock Yes these appear to be supplements to the 1800 “standard” owners manual. george

  5. @tjones02 - yes, thank you very much. Super helpful. Your views gave me confidence to pull the trigger. Much appreciated. Would love to see if someone might know who the original US owner might have been. Art believes Mike (someone). Wish I had more. much appreciated, George
  6. Folks, Recently i stumbled into 1965 BMW Ti/SA #995194. This was Art Krill’s car back in the day. I’m interested to learn whether anybody in this community might have any history regarding the car? I hope so. I plan to bring 194 to Monterey next summer. thanks, George
  7. Kit, Many thanks! Very much appreciated, George
  8. Hi All, I think I have a bead on a 65 1800 Tisa. Reportedly street car that was converted to a race car about 20 yrs ago. The car is in Europe, so I won't be able to personally inspect. I'm told VIN on the tag is 1417801. Everything thing I've seen has Tisa's with vin starting with "9". Archive VIN decoder shows this number corresponds to an 84 320i, but it's my understanding that BMW started reusing early 7 digit numbers in the 80's. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, George
