Pedal box is included in the sale and the pedals are in working order. The floor around the pedals was rusty.

Price: $5000Location: Tacoma, WA
Description:For sale is my 1967 BMW 1600. VIN: 1530275. Original color is Chamonix White code 085. Clear WA title in my name. This car sat for many years unused. My mechanic was able to get the motor running and did an oil change and valve adjustment. Motor is matching to the car. This car is very complete with many of the original rare items such as embossed hood trim / original steering wheel / original working radio / date matched 5/67 steel wheels with hubcaps and trim rings.

We cut the driver pedal area out due to rust from brake master cylinder.
I had hoped to have this car restored back to its original glory, but just have too many projects at this time.
I have many additional photos and also have a video of the engine running.
Best,
David

I am so bummed, less than a year ago I was offered a 1967 1800 NK for free from a guy in the town where I live. At the time, I didn't have any space to put it. When I messaged him back saying I would take the car, he said that the scrapper just came to pick it up. It had a ton of good parts. Next time, I won't be so short sited.

I would try the folks at Lane as they do have space.
You can also reach out to Niche Motors. They are out there and may have some space or know of some space available. If anything, you will have fun looking at their inventory.
Safe travels -- David

Thank you both for your replies. I will try removing the neck and taking it to a locksmith.

Does anyone have a procedure for unlocking a locked fuel cap on a 1600 without damaging the mechanism? The key is nowhere to be found. I suppose a locksmith could do the trick as well perhaps.
