  1. Sold with the by it now of $14000. I decided to pass as not a tii and was concerned why it had been offered for $9500 in Tulsa with no takers. Thanks to all that weighed in on this ! Regards, Mike
  2. Hey all, Has anyone looked at the 74 Baikal blue listed for $14000 buy it now? Don't know how to show the listing link but it's only one in blue with the 14k price. I know he has turned down three offers but of course he would not say what they were obviously. Know it has a 84 318i motor and not a tii but appears to be a nicely restored base 2002 with a/c which I simply have to have down here in South Carolina. I am retiring shortly and would use as a regular driver but put few miles on weekly so could work for that. Have a newer car for going long distances. What is the opinion of those who know far more than I do about 2002 values and perhaps this particular one ? Any help really appreciated. Thanks, Mike
  3. Hey Robert, Let me know if you decide to sell once you get to Chicago. At least it would be closer to me then as I am in South Carolina, near Hilton Head Island. Thanks, Mike
  4. Hey Robert, I take it your tii sold ? If not, what's the status ? Thanks, Mike
  5. Thanks y'all - I figured it would might not be too difficult. I agree, buying a 2002 is just like buying an Austin Healey, buy the best one you can afford ! Many thanks, Mike
  6. Hey, New to the forum as looking to purchase a 2002 after having owned many BMW's over the years but now getting ready to retire. Quite a few nice later 2002's available but all have the, in my opinion, not attractive extended 5 mph bumpers. How difficult and expensive is it to convert back to 1972 style bumpers ? Also, anyone have an idea on cost to add on Vintage type a/c to a 2002? I know, shouldn't worry about a/c, but my 64 year old body prefers a/c in South Carolina ! Thanks, Mike
