  2. you guys are all a huge help thank you, but i think i found a problem that i didnt catch before like an idiot. i was too exited i just cleaned em out and tried to tune, but i shoulda done my homework. i found on one carb that both air correctors were 155's, and main jets were 145's. than the idle jets were a 55f8 and 50f8. than the other car was air correctors were a 185 and 190, and main jet were both 150's, while idle jet were both 45f9's. so i think thiss might be whats killin me. i rush things too much sometimes
  3. ive takin the carbs both apart and cleaned everything out. one had a problem with a float, but i fixed it. and i checked those taper screws and venturis and they seemed aligned but ill double check. and try the paint removing, even tho i liked the look.ill look into what you said and get back.

  6. im new to the site but i've done everything i could think of, i went from a stock single carb in my 74' 2002, to dual weber 45s. i put an electric pump and all the water bypass. ive checked if theres vacuum leaks on my new ie manifold, but there isnt. when ever i hold on the gas it bogs out like a vacuum leak. could it be too much gas, or not enough? sparks plugs are dry and regular when i pulled em. im not sure what to check, maybe my cheap electric fuel pump aint a good match it gives 3 to 5 psi?
