I am parting ways with my 2002. I bought this car two years ago with the intention of making a lightly modified street car out of it. However my father and I are restoring a 911 at the same time and we need space to finish that. The car was stock when I got it, but we added many performance parts. The engine runs very strong with a 38/38 Weber, Ireland exhaust, and a 320 radiator. I have driven this car from Vegas to San Francisco in the middle of the summer and the temp gauge did not pass 50%. The car comes with Recaro seats and a new carpet kit. The gauge cluster was just restored and the interior painted white so you wont be driving by candlelight. The suspension has been rebuilt with powdercoated components, Eibach sport springs, and Bilstein Sport shocks and struts. The car handles very well. The tires have about 80% left on them with steel wheels (I have the hub caps as well). The car does have some body damage to the rear where it was hit two years ago. I have taken her to World Class 1600. (http://www.worldclass1600.com/) I was quoted $5,000 to paint and do all the bodywork, PPG with clear coat. I have taken off the side trim plus the front and rear reflectors and welded the holes. The car comes with a four speed but I have a good five speed that is ready to go in that I am willing to sell with the car. I also have a newly rebuilt large port 1976 head with a Schrik 289 cam that I am willing to sell with the car. The car drives great and is ready to be made into your dream. It is located in Irwindale CA in a climate controlled garage. I am asking $2,500 but I am flexible. I have many more pics and would be happy to send them. The ones I took are too big for FAQ so if you need pics please email me here or at boldtu@gmail.com. I will take some pics that are smaller and post them ASAP. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking
ok here is a pleace where you can view pictures, thanks again

Have any of you guys heard of putting an 02 motor in a Lotus 7. I have an extra motor, and a friend recently let me drive his 7, I was blown away.
Thanks,
Chet

The cars they build now may not look too much like our cars, but they are a blast to drive. Even an X5 feels tight. I am not a fan of many of the new car"s styling but the experience is still unique to a BMW

ars=arms
thanks again,

I took my wiper blade ars off to polish them. I let them sit after I blasted them for about a week and the passenger side got a little rusty. I thought they were both aluminum. The drivers side (with the little wing thing) is not turning color at all.
any thoughts

I have a few for sale, with an addition from last time
A Weber single barrel carb (34 ICH), worked great on my 71'
will work now, but could a use a rebuild at some point. $15
2002 radiator from my 71', worked great when I had it on the car about six months ago. $15.00
Stock intake manifold (not hogged), replaced it with a redline. I blasted it with fine glass bead, its in good shape.$25.00
top engine mount metal piece. I bought this from 2002 AD, unfortunately they charged me $25, I blasted it with fine glass bead and repainted. $5.00
all of the parts are in Irwindale CA, I can ship if you would like for a little extra
I am willing to negotiate on the prices
