  1. I have my Aluminum BMP 8-Bolt Racing Flywheel for sale. This flywheel is new and has never been installed on a motor. I am selling it because my built 2002 motor is built on a 6-bolt crank. This flywheel is a little over 9 pounds. I hate to see it go, but it will not fit my engine. I am asking $425 OBO. Email me at marthur@spsu.edu or call me at 678-773-3723. Thanks,

  2. I have a bit of a problem. I have a completely built M10 engine that was built around an early 6-bolt crank. I purchased this motor as a disassembled mess, and it happened to come with an 8-Bolt Aluminum Flywheel. You can start to see my problem. I am looking to buy a steel 6-bolt flywheel that can be lightened. I am also selling my aluminum flywheel. It is a BMP Racing flywheel and has never been installed and retailed for over $500. All offers considered. I would also trade straight up for a 6-Bolt Aluminum flywheel.

    P.s.

Anyone who can locate a 6-bolt flywheel for me gets a $25 finders fee via PayPal.

  3. Slow death beginning with dimming lights then lack of everything is sure indication that your battery died. Probably due to lack of charging from the alternator. The clicking sound is the idle cut solenoid on your carb. I suggest that you inspect your voltage regulator, the alternator and the attendant connecting wires. Something is causing your battery not to be charged and it could be a handful of things. A slipping or broken fan belt could make the battery die. Inspect for broken or slipping belt.

There is no idle solenoid on a DGV with a manual Choke. This relay is on the passenger wheel well, and it engages immedaitely when the battery is connected and does not de-energize. Alternator is fine and belt is NEW and tight.

  4. Hello,

I have a problem with my '76 2002 electrical system. Yesterday night, I am driving home and the car is running great. About 1 mile from my house I notice my headlights are dim and in about 1/2 a mile the car has died and I am coasting. I make it home and the car is DEAD. No interior lights, fuel pump, NOTHING. I put a volt meter on the battery and it reads 0.3 volts. I got a new battery and the car starts/idles fine. However, when I first connect the battery, I hear a solenoid engage on the other side of the car. The Voltage Regulator? is energizing and staying energized when the battery in first connected and the key is off. It never de-energizes... is this normal?

More importantly, what do you think caused the problem in the first place. Please help, I need this car.
