  6. Hardware update:

I included two plastic large and two small plastic washers to install on the b-pillar loop bracket for a smother operation. These were not included in the kit originally. There are small round metal spacers that go into the large plastic washer to install behind the d/loop bracket and small plastic washers to under the bolt that goes that secure the loop bracket. You can install the flat metal washer followed by split lock washer included in the kit to complete the installation. I hope these pictures help visualize what I am talking about.

Al do you ever make these for e30?

Not currently planning, but I may change the webbing to M-stripe in your original assemblies. You can also find places in US that will do re-webbing using M-stripe webbing however there is no guarantee that webbing they use is the real German product, but possibly Chinese knock-offs.

interested but what about rear belts? The rear belts have been around the block as many times as the front.

Rear belts with w/ M-stripe webbing is currently in design stage. These will have small profile retractors mounted on the top of the parcel shelf. If you want rear belts w/o M-stripe webbing (plain black) contact me and I will order a set for you.

Can you link to info about the mod required for early models? I have a 70 and would be interested in these but curious what needs to be done to make it work.

Try searching FAQ for Peacock method, or find my article " installing inertia belts to early cars..." you just need to drill two small holes on the inner rocker panel directly below from upper swing loop anchor on the top front corner of rear trim panel. One hole on the side of the rocker panel (vertically) of size 7/16" and another hole on the top of the rocker extension aligned with the lower hole (1/2" to 1" diameter), this is an access hole to install a washer and nut for the bolt that secures the retractor.
