Price: $400Location: Whittier, CA
Description:Hello friends,
I have two of these that are just sitting since I found a 245 5 speed instead. Both are clean and seem to be in good shape, however I have not installed or tested either. Shifter and mount aren't included, but are installed and can be swapped to either one for testing before purchase.
Have a great day.

If you don't have luck finding a rental/loaner, I can let you use my factory tool while I'm at my shop in Duarte by appointment. I'll give you the space to work and the use of whatever tools that you'll need to remove your cam (assuming that's your plan) but no, factory tools will not leave my shop.
That is an awesome offer friend. I’m 15 min from you. Will send a PM.
I love this community. Thank you!

I'm only going to need this for a few hours so it's not really something I'd like to spend the time fabricating. Anyone have one they'd be willing to share or rent? I'll cover all shipping fees or I'm in the Los Angeles area and would be happy to pick it up and leave you a deposit.
Thank you.

Hi there,
I'm hoping someone in the area has a car who's rubber bushings have been replaced with polyurethane that wouldn't mind taking me for a drive. I'm considering this change but the only car I've ever had with full poly ALSO had poly motor and trans mounts (MkII GTI) and it was absolutely horrendous to drive and shook like crazy at idle. I'd like to do rubber engine and trans mounts but poly suspension bushings.
I'll come to you and buy you lunch and a couple beers. Thanks!

I guess the irony of my being the maker of that system wasn't heavy enough! That product is one I developed over months of research and prototyping, so, yes, I know every single component very well, and, no, I'm not really interested in sharing those particulars. At the price we're asking, it would be very difficult to come even close to creating the same thing on your own.
Didn’t catch that, my apologies. I appreciate the information very much.
Order coming friend!

I personally consider this the best solution. Fits under standard 13" rims, uses all original components except for the rotors, costs less than any other option. Pretty nifty, uh? Not that I'm prejudiced or anything.
Thank you for the replies. This is an excellent community.
Any idea if these are stock E21 rotors or something else? I can handle machining spacers and caliper pins based on the rotor thickness variance.

Hi there...I've searched and searched here and elsewhere but still can't find an answer to this one: 73' 2002 currently with stock unvented front rotors, original calipers on standard struts (non-tii) with stock rear drums. I'd like to keep my stock 13" steelies and wheel covers.
Has anyone successfully fitted E21 vented rotors, hubs, and Volvo 240 calipers under stock steelies? Any options at all for rear upgrades? I'm ok with a bit of grinding to the calipers for clearance and I don't mind drums, but discs would be nice. I keep seeing "some 13s may work" in IE and other vendors' descriptions, but no mention of stock wheels.
Or, is there another configuration that works? I'm not really concerned with appearance since no one will see them with steelies and hubcaps.
Thank you, have a good day.

Price: $400Location: Whittier, CA 90602
Description:I don't really know what, if anything, these are worth these days but this unit is in pretty good shape and is mostly complete. I do have the condenser also, but it's pretty beat up and very rusty. Other than that, I do not have any of the hoses, shifter console, or anything that isn't pictured. Original tag is stored safe and flat in a plastic bag.
Feel free to make an offer. I do not want to separate these items. Also open to trades/partial for DCOE parts, looking for a Getrag 245, rear pop out window latches, and a few other things.
Gave a great day.
