Price: $30Location: Barneveld, Holland.
Description:Hi everyone, I'm thinning out my collection of steering wheels so some of these wheels can find a new home. I have more photos of all of them and more info as well. If you want to know more about one of them just send a message or comment. The prices are negotiable. I live in Holland; shipping worldwide is no problem. Here is a list of the wheels:
1976 340mm Personal Collaudo. The condition is good. It has one spot of damage and two little dings. Asking price: 140 euro.
340mm Franchini Sport Collaudo knockoff. Same wheel as the first one, but not made by Personal. The condition of the wood is great, but the lacker has faded over time. It was very thin and is worn trough in places. Asking price: 80 euro. SOLD!
365mm Personal GP-1. The wheel is in good condition. There is a scratch in the center middle, and the wood has some small scratches an dings, but nothing major. Asking price: 180 euro
80's 360mm MOMO Cavallino. The leather is in good condition, but the stitches are fraying in some spots. Asking price 110 euro. SOLD
80's 380mm leather Personal wheel. These seem very rare, I can't find much info about it. The wheel is in near perfect condition, it only has some small dents from storage. The horn button is integrated in the middle part. Asking price 130 euro. SOLD!
Two Personal 0156 steering hubs, for BMW 2002's. One has (I think) the original horn mechanism, the other one has some sort of VW mechanism. Both are a bit beat up, but in good working condition. 40 Euro for the complete one, 30 for the other. SOLD!
I have multiple horn buttons with holders in stock, so if you need one as well just ask.

That is a genuine Petri button and hard to come by. Look it up on eBay and you'd be surprised what they're going for. Which also goes for the wheel and hub. You can find replacement black button surrounds online.
You stole that Petri stuff for anything less than $750. If you did, you got a great deal.
Thanks for the tip! I'll look in to that.
Lets just say I payed less than $750 for it haha.
I'm still debating, but the best way of selling it would be cleaning it up I think? That be polishing the spokes, cleaning the foam some more, painting the centre and adding some new bolts.

Thanks for the idea of joining those facebook groups! I sent them both a message about joining them.
And thanks Mike, good to know what car these hubs belong to. I will be putting them for sale soon.
As for the button, I don't see any Lucas on it. The only markings are 'Made in West-Germany'. But it does belong to the wheel and hub right?

Cool, thanks! That is usefull information.

The total lenght of the over is 87mm and of the hub is ~98mm.

Hey everyone,
a while ago I came acros a local listing of a few steering wheels online. I am a bit of a steering wheel collector, and a saw two nice Personal wheels, a personal imitation wheel, a (ruined) Moto Lita wheel and a to me unknown wheel. There were some hubs aswell. Two of them are for old VW's, and three of them are unknown to me. I had a feeling they were for some kind of BMW, because there was a BMW horn button included aswell.
I found out recently the unknown wheel was (I believe) called a Petri wheel. And that the BMW horn button belongs to it. But I cant find out what car this hub is for. Maybe a 2002 or an E9. In the middle of the hub is a BMW logo with ‘1.10977’. Can anyone help me out and shine some light on it? The plastic cover for the hub is also included.
The wheel itself isnt in that good of a condition. The size is 380mm, and the wheel is covered in some kind of foam. There are no markings on the wheel. The chrome is peeling and the centrering isn't looking that good anymore. The foam is still looking good though, so I'm thinking of polishing the spokes and painting the centrering. Or will the wheel lose its value because it isn't original anymore? I don't plan on keeping it because I don't have a car for it, and I'd rather use one of my lovely Nardi wheels. But I don't mind spending some time to freshen it up a but before sale time.
In the sale were also two identical hubs included. I think these might also be for a BMW, but I'm not sure. On the front it says 0156 and on the back 3120. There are no logo’s or brands on it. It looks like a Personal hub to me, but not sure. It does have the Personal hub pattern, being 6x74mm. Here are some photo's, maybe someone recognizes it?
Let me know what you think!
Thanks in advance,
Rein
380mm Petri Sport steering wheel with 2002 hub

Description:
For sale my 380mm Petri Sport wheel with BMW 2002 hub, horn button, horn button ring and plastic surround. As you can see, the wheel is very complete.
When I got the wheel the chrome was a bit rusty an pitted. I started sanding it to get it clean again and then polish it. It is perfectly doable, but it will take some time. As time is a bit tight I'm selling it.
As mentioned, it is/was a little bit rusty and one of the spokes has a slight bend as seen on the photo. The black cover has two very small cracks in it. Other than that the wheel is in very good condition. The foam is firm and well connected to the steel ring inside. It has no damage and isn't worn.
My asking price is €450, but I'm open to offers. I live in Holland, but world wide shipping is no problem.
If you have any questions or want any more photo's just let me know.
