Always great that someone takes the time to develop a new product for our cars. Can you tell us more about the kit? What calipers and rotors does it use? Any pictures of the install? Does the bleed screw end up the right way around?

This kit uses the R50 mini calipers and the Opel Astra rotors.

The bleeder does not work perfectly because the caliper is mounted under the suspension arm.
It can be installed even with a 13-inch rim.

As we removed for catalog photography, there are only the images before.

  2. I designed the rear disc brake kit, but I changed the design of the bracket.
It is not necessary to remove the hub.

Cut and remove the drum brake backplate.
However, the removed back plate can not be used again.

The brake disc in our kit is machined to the hub.
There is no need to remove the hub as it is not machined.

Work will be completed in a few hours, including removing the drum brakes.

We plan to sell for $ 1400.
The kit is, calipers, pads, disc rotors, caliper brackets, brake lines, and mounting hardware.
Everything necessary for installation is included.

The caliper is a aluminum caliper and also has a parking brake

  3. I made a plan to manufacture a bell housing for a Ford type-9 transmission, but it became expensive and was canceled

When I contacted an Australian bell housing manufacturer,

It turned out that the bell housing for BMW of Toyota W series and Borg Warner T-5 can be manufactured.
    Both were $ 850.

I have these transmissions, but I do not want to use them because they are heavier and bigger than the 242 transmission.
But if you're looking for a strong transmission, it's a good option.

  4. The type 9 gearbox is adopted for many British kit cars, and various gear ratios are prepared.

Also the size and the position of shift lever do not change very much with getrag245.

Type9 gearbox bolt pattern is compatible with many racing transmissions.

More transmission options are better than less transmission options. Where will this be available to purchase?

If you make the bellhousing large enough to hold a 240mm clutch, M30 guys could easily use this In addition to M10.

This bell housing is designed with a 240mm clutch.

Until you are ready because there is no sales experience to overseas it will be sold only in Japan.

  5. I am planning to manufacture a bell housing to install a FORD type 9 gearbox to the BMW engines.

It is a request from a Japanese classic BMW specialist.

In Japan, getrag 245 is not easily obtained.

However, many customer want the 5-speed.So I decided to install a different gearbox.

Now I have an estimate of the bellhousing production, but is likely to be very expensive.

It may be less expensive to manufacture overseas than in Japan.

  6. It is planned to sell with a little improvement.
In Japan, we sell only as a kit including caliper and rotor due to the car inspection system.
We have never been sold overseas, but if you wish, we will sell it.
We are also considering selling only brackets to overseas.

  7. Bolt on is preferred in Japan.

    The old car is especially.Moreover,

it is quite difficult to change the rear brake to disk because of the vehicle inspection system.

It is necessary to calculate brake performance and prove the bracket strength.

So I decided to make custom bracket but it was expensive.

Now we are promoting a project that uses a transmission that is not getrag245 to make it 5 speed.

  8. I made a custom bracket so that it can be set up without machined the hub.

    Disc rotor machined is necessary.

Center and inner diameter of the disk rotor are increased.

Caliper and rotor are genuine parts of Mini and Opel.

    Disc rotor diamatar is 240mm

It is a request from a Japanese classic BMW specialist.

It may be the funniest English because I use translation software
