Price drop, 11k. I need to get rid if a few
-
Price: $9500Location: Prescott AZ
Description:I picked this up with the intention of swapping a manual transmission into it. Turns out I found another one that is already a 5 speed (I have 4 total 2002's) so I don't need this one. Here are the highlights.
Fresh paint (a little overspray on trim etc but overall looks nice)
Nice interior with recent carpet and sport seats
Very cold AC
Webber down draft carb
Slick Top
Automatic
A very rust free example
Overall it is actually the cleanest 2002 I have. It is well sorted and is a great drivers car. There are two paint blemishes that can be seen in the album below. One chip on the roof and one by the passenger rear tire. Put a stick in this and it would be an 18K car.

I am interested in the brakes. Will they fit stock or Tii struts? Just curious I have both....

I need a pedal box. I am doing an auto to manual swap and I need the pedals, clutch master, and all the parts to get the clutch to work. Do you have any pedal boxes left?

I am getting ready to do a M20b25 260 trans swap on my 75 auto car. I need one more pedal! If you have a pedal box and as much if the other stuff (linkage, clutch slave etc) as possible I am interested.
Thanks!

I am looking for a set (preferably black) of front and rear seats. The car is a 1969 but I will take whatever I can get. I am in Prescott AZ so hopefully I can find something within driving distance.

I have a 1975 2002 that unfortunately is the automatic transmission. It is otherwise rust free, working AC, great interior, sport seats, etc etc etc. I would like to swap in my 1988 325is M20 and Getrag 260 transmission. I figured if I am doing a tranny swap I might as well keep the engine connected to it. I have searched and searched for posts about how much larger the tunnel is on the auto cars vs the 4 speed. If there was a thread I missed please point me in that direction. Here is my question:
From what I have read the 260 is too big in the bell housing area. Due to the larger tunnel (especially near the firewall based on my searches) will the 260 fit without hacking away? I have a 245 M20 bell housing but no trans yet. I am trying to find out if I need to find a 245 or put the $$ towards keeping my 260. I know the 265 is taller and wider which requires more tunnel mods. From the pictures I have been able to find it looks like the 260 is smaller, but is it small enough.......
Any help ESPECIALLY pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I need a 245 for my M20 swap. I already have a bell housing. I noticed in your post you had a complete 245 for sale as well. Can you PM me the details?

I am planning an M20 swap into my 1975. It is an auto now and I have an 88M20B25 in great shape so I decided to swap the motor with the transmission which I was going to swap anyway. I would like to stay away from the 260 trans as I hope to keep the tunnel close to stock (working AC, don't want to remove it). I have read that the trans tunnel is bigger on the auto cars but I dont know if it's big enough for the 260. IF anyone has parts that I may need send me a PM. I am specifically looking for a getrag 245 for the m20 if I can find one.
