  1. Dlegaspi,

    I Just purchased a brand new set off of ebay 2 weeks ago and have since received them and can verify the seller was legit. I have included a link to other items the seller currently has listed. You might want to reach out to him and see if he can help locate a set or maybe even has another set. I remember I looked at the feedback and saw that he had sold other sets of R20s. Hope this helps a little.

  2. I was holding out hope for the plug 35 Simeon referenced, but need to get home to check it. The fact it may not be on the diagram helps me feel at little less crazy. I have been searching wire diagrams trying to find this thing and have found nothing except a bruised forehead from beating my head against the wall. I have new found hope all of the sudden. I can't wait to get home and grab my dirty harness and trusty voltmeter.  Thanks Guys!

  3. That would make sense, just looking at what wires are connected to it. It also makes sense why I can't find the other end of that plug. Because, it's probably hanging under the dash that is sitting in the storage unit with all the other parts. I am assuming that this would plug into the rectangular box in the middle of the dash. I will make a trip to the storage unit and see if we can put this mystery to bed.  Thank you everyone for your help. This site rocks.

  4. Awesome! Thank u so much. first plug mystery is solved.

    Second plug is still a bit of a mystery. I've got the wiper motor plug attached and still can't find where the black plug goes. What am I missing. Also, from the mystery black plug the white wire and the gray/blue wire both go to the speedobox plug, the green/white wire goes to spot6 on the gauge cluster plug, and the brown/yellow  goes to a relay socket.  I just can't figure out what plugs into the black plug. Thanks again for the help both of u. I'm close to finishing the labeling part of this project.

    Cheers,

  5. Simeon,

    Thanks for the quick response. Checking closer for the DIN numbers is a great idea, and something I haven't done yet. When I was working on this last night I was pretty sure that I had identified the wiper motor plug, but definitely worth looking at again.

    Additional info;

    The first plug (White plastic plug) had continuity from the brown/green wire to the oil pressure switch and then to the gauge cluster plug for the oil pressure switch. It then also had continuity between the white wire in the white plastic plug, and the white wire in the second (black plug) I have pictured. The third wire (Gray/blue) on the white plastic plug I haven't found continuity for yet. Me and my voltmeter back at it again tonight!

    Again thanks for the help,

    Mike

  6. Hello FAQers,

    I am trying to identify a couple of plugs on my wire harness.

    This harness came out of my 1976 02 which had all the smog bits and pieces. I have removed the harness while the body is being prepped and painted, and have been going through and labeling, repairing, and re-wrapping the harness. I have been able to identify almost all of the connections with the help of wiring diagrams, but can't find the 2 plugs below. The car was not running (only a block and tranny in the engine bay) when I received it and I was unable to label all connections. If anyone can tell me what the plugs are for and where they plug into, I would really appreciate it.

    FYI I will be swapping in a M42, so the last question would be whether they are needed after the swap.

    Thanks,

    Mike
