  1. Well that gives you hope. By the looks I thought it sat there for 29 years.

    I hope I'm wrong but by looking at door, rear wheel arches and shock towers I suspect you will find issues also at rear axle mounts, rocker panels and lower part of a-pillars.

    Rocker panels and rear axle mounts are perfect. The area on the quarters is from a previous repair that was not done correctly (that panel is still available from the dealer) and there is some rot at what I would call the bottom of the A-pillar, I have pictures I will post.

  2. Welcome on board! I'm afraid once you get to see the underside you'll find bigger problems than blown head gasket. Rust may be overwhelming but lets hope it's still repairable. If it was actually in a barn instead of beside one the prognosis would be much better.

    Underside is 99% rust free, I will be posting more pictures this afternoon, it sat in a concrete floor 2 car garage from 1987 until March of 2015, by then the garage was in poor shape and the town cited the property owner for it and the car was pulled out to be able to tear the garage down, the floors on this car are actually more solid than the ones in my e30
