Trying to decide what to do about the left frame rail. The lower section under the floor board was completely rusted. Some time ago, a fellow member of the board sold me that lower section in very good condition and I believe it is possible to weld the two sections I have, after taking all the measurements.
 
RD still has brand new left frame rails, and buying one is another option.
 
Has someone successfully grafted two sections of the frame rail together? Should I be concerned with the strength of the weld?

Ok I'm in for the 3:45 and corresponding flange provided this is for the standard 2002 short neck diff with LSD.
 

That is not a cage.... It is a roll bar.   Maybe if you told the insurance company what it really was it would make a difference.

Shitty, I had a conversation about that problem earlier this year.  I don't see why the rear one is bad.   The one with the front cage in my opinion is a problem, because it is meant for people to wear helmets and 5 point belts, so we don't bounce off of it when balling it up.
