  2. Hello,

Looking for a set of project-grade Scheel seats to restore. Need them in a color that's not a standard issue (oxblood / maroon) so whatever you have will just be torn apart. Hence, I'd prefer they not be a perfectly restored/preserved pair.

Don't need sliders either as those will be custom made.

Just need a pair with good foam and mechanisms. Will ship on my dime for the right set, I'll send you labels / boxes / everything you need.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

  3. Price: $285
    Location: Warwick, Rhode Island

    Description:

Hey guys. I just removed this from my 1980 320/6 Euro-spec for a sidedraft conversion. Barely used - maybe 100 miles on this setup. I bought it from Top End Performance a year ago while my motor was being built, and it was actually on the car for all of six months, mostly for shake-down miles.

$285 plus shipping / fees. Manifold is NOT included.

FYI, here is a link to what I bought: https://www.racetep.com/bmw-m-b-w-4a1-solex-4-barrel-38-dges.html

  4. Price: $400
    Location: Warwick, RI

    Description:

Breaks my heart to sell these but I need the cash for something else more pressing. Freshly repainted, never mounted. Beautiful condition. I bought these for my E21 but if I do anything other than the MIMs it's currently riding on, it will be to go back to the stock steel wheels.

Asking $400 + shipping. $400 is what I have into painting and not the wheels themselves. Pickup is preferred in / near Warwick, RI, but I will ship on your dime (bear in mind, "dime" means boxes and packing materials in addition to cost of freight itself.)

I do have the center caps - they will be included but could use new roundel stickers. Thanks for looking.

  5. Price: $220
    Location: Warwick RI

    Description:

I went back to the original steering wheel in my Euro E21. This is in very nice shape with what I believe to be original leather, and it is holding together impressively well. Looks nice and period, not shiny/new, but no major blemishes and stitching holding together tightly. Comes w/ new horn button. Shroud that goes around hub has been professionally epoxied to the wheel; splines in good shape, too. Horn works and no funny noises when mounted. Pickup available in Warwick, Rhode Island; price is plus shipping and PayPal fees.

You could try "Wedge Brackets" too. They have mucho brackets.

Oh -- these guys were not on my radar. Much more affordable, too.

So how would these work, since they are not just the brackets - does this whole assembly bolt to the bottom of the seat?

Looks much "neater" than removing the sliders off of my pristine stock seats and all of that other nonsense....

  7. Hi guys,

I am intentionally bumping this topic as I need similar advice (and no one responded to the other guy, sooo).

I have an E21. I know this is an '02 forum, but Bimmerforums sucks. Was wondering if anyone knows what the proper recipe is for bolting a set of Konig seats into an E21.

I removed these from a 2002 which appears to just have the square-shaped bracket bolted to the floor; assuming some combination of E21 sliders + bracket needs to commence, but not positive.

    Any guidance appreciated.
