You can also mount the engine to the stand sideways from the exhaust side. Allows you to work on clutch and flywheel.
This doesnt seem right, the stud holes dont seem like they would bear that amount of load...

First post. Been lurking for awhile and haven't been able to locate this info, or really where to start when searching for it.I bought a '73 2002 back in Dec and it came with [many] spare parts including an extra motor and many drive train parts.I'd like to build up the 2.0 carbureted motor and swap it in with a fresh transmission. Does anyone know the size of the (transmission?) bolts used to mount the motor to the engine stand?
