I am a pretty big guy and was wondering if anyone has fitted the "wider" Standard Sparco Chrono Road Seats, or the Corbeau LG1-Wide Seats in their 2002 ?
Each seems to be 22" wide, which is what the Stock Seats measure.
Or could anyone recommend another brand of similar size, that they have installed in their own car ?
I have read numerous other seats threads but they did not quite answer my concerns.
Regards,
Jeff

I did the smart thing, and Sold these seats.
Now i have a much better understanding as to what I need while searching for another pair.

I picked up a pair of Recaro Seats today that came out of a 91' VW Jetta GLI and need the Mounting Base ( and not sure what else ) to install these in my 76' BMW 2002.
I would be grateful for any direction as to what parts I need, and where best to get them.
I assume sharing these pic's with a Recaro Distributor may be my best bet ?
Thanks for any info you may share with me.
Regards,
Jeff in NH

I don't have a build thread on here, no. Attached are a couple of photos to at least give an idea of what I've got but will stop short of a full description as I'm still not sure if I want to go through with it at all. BAT is certainly a place which has come to mind, but I think they are pretty picky about their exclusive features and I'm not sure if a 2002 will cut the mustard, so to speak.
Thanks for the input guys. To be clear, I'm not requesting value estimates, rather tools to help me assign a good value and good places to list.
Absolutely Stunning Car !!! Clean, Tasteful, and no doubt very quick ....
Understated Elegance...

Do check the references refered to above. After that, here's my experience. Both my wife's '76 and my '75 have 14 x 6 wheels. My wife's Pastellblau '76 has Superlites w/ 28 offset. We've both run 195/60 and 185/60 tires at various times. Either will work. The 195/60 x 14s are closer to the OE wheel/tire combination that was on our cars when they came from the Factory, but 185s will give you ever-so-slightly better acceleration. My car has some V1 Ronals (NLA for the past 30 years).
Thank You Napes for your personal experience on this subject, i do appreciate it.
I will use the advise from everyone who replied.
Thank You,
Jeff

Question for you vetern 2002 enthusiests please:
My 76' 2002 has new, but stock ride height springs & shocks.
I prefer not to do any fender rolling and need advise on:
Wheel/Tire size as well as Proper Offset, that will fit w/o modifications.
I love the look of the Panasport / Superlite / Minilite Wheels and IF i make an online purchase i'd like to be certain i am buying the correct set-up.
Thank You in advance for any advice you wish to share,
Jeff
