  1. Hmm. I am just curious why you are requesting money to restore a car that you imply is in Costa Rica, yet your 'Go Fund Me' request says that the request was made from Floral Park, NY. That is Long Island, if I am not mistaken, quite a distance from Costa Rica. Is airfare to Costa Rica included as part of the $20,000 needed for restoration costs? Curious minds wants to know. ;)

that is simple, the site asked me for my postal code a wrote it and it automatically set an american city, I was unable to change it and it was required

  5. If you have good condition S14 or M2 parts stored, not being used, or that you bought as part of a project you quit or sold I may be interested in buying this parts from you!

    Cheers!

    Location: miami

  6. Yes, that's the baffle for the pan.  The M3 pickup won't fit in the 2002 pan.  So as Marshall suggests, either get an M10 pickup for your M3 pump, or get an M10 pump.

I might have an extra pump if you need to buy the whole thing.

Thank you for the info and price, ill ask how much it is for the pan modification ill go for the cheaper option

Thanks for the info and assistance guys!

  7. Ok guys this is shameful and hilarious...

After reading your feedback and being sure (I previously was sure that m10 and S14 lower block is the same from outside) So I went to the mechani'c garage (far away from my home) to check out WTF was heppening...

he was fitting the M10 pan to the upper S14 Pan not to the engine OMFG this scared me a lot he said all M10s Ive seen use 2 oil pans upper and lower... I said come on man you shoould know just by watching it that its a one piece oil pan not a lower oil pan LOL

So Im OK with carter now and Ill modify it to use the S14 oil pump which is brand new

An M10 pan fits, ya know.

    TY!

Ray's correct. Easiest is to use an m10 pan with some baffles from Ireland Engineering and an m10 pump.

are baffles a must? can you provide me the best baffle offered at ireland to be used with an S14? is there a modification required for oil deep stick?

    Really? Why not?

    At idle pic attached.

Looks really nice, this is an m10 oil pump with m10 oil pan right? oil amount is less right? capacity is reduced? how much is reduced in case it is

I tracked my M2 with the m10 pan/pump for many years without any problems.  But if you want an S14 pan, go for it.   But the bolt pattern should be identical between the m10 pan and the upper pan for the s14.

yes my mechanich was matching m10 pan to S14 upper pan big LOL

The M10 pump is the s14 pump with a different pick up,.. In fact the evo pump is the m10 pump with different relief valves. it works fine

can I buy those relief valves and rebuild an m10 pump to be an Evo pump? is that possible?

If you check on a parts catalog web site like Realoem, you'll find the part # for the 2002 oil pan gasket (11131727974) is shared with the e30 M3, so the bolt patterns have to line up between the M10 and S14 blocks.

    Great Info thanks!!!

My idea now is modifying the M10 2002 Oil pan so I can fit the S14 oil pump.

Now the question is, which baffle is reccomended I see a couple of toys for 2002  pans at Ireland

TY all for the information this was soo funny due to pure stupidity HAHAHAHAHAHA
