Buddy, are you on staff at NPS? I seem to recall that car from my time there in 2006/07. Am ever I jealous to hear of some NPS "Cars and Coffee" going on without me! Have fun!
Cheers,
Craig

Great feedback folks, thanks. I can't rationalize the cost of the Potenzas with such positive thoughts on the S-Drives. Wish I could say I would auto-x them; maybe I'll get lucky... The last time I autocrossed was 1991 in an '83 Porsche 924 Turbo (ugh). I squeaked by my dad's best time of day in his '90 E30 M3 that particular day, but I'm sure it was my shear recklessness or dumb luck (definitely not skill). I need to go back to school!

I've been eye-balling the S-Drives for my Tii with 15" Panasports. I don't intentionally drive this car in the wet (only by accident). How would the S-Drives compare with the Potenza RE040s for sporty (drier) road work? (Anyone with experience? Marshall?)

Whoa! I can't wait to see the wicked fender flares on your '02 wrapped around those!
It'll look like a modern DTM M3 got sat on by a 1600!

We've had a set on our car for at least 16 years and they appear to have held up very well. Ours are a 15 x 5.5 though, I think.

Wish I could join you sooner!
My boss sent me to a conference in 29 Palms this week. I'm hopping a red eye out of Palm Springs Thursday night but still can't get in to Jacksonville til noon Friday. Four hour drive to W-S, praying for no complications enroute. Can't wait to meet everyone.
Tim, did you get a down tube from Grice, or are you sticking to your patch?
