so i got some 15x9" wheels (rear) and 15x8 (front) does anyone know the lug length I would need (from factory lugs) adding a 1" spacer in the front & .5" spacer in the rear? also are these threaded or press in ? Im going into clutch master cylinder panic mode. I think I just need to take a breath and rip it apart. Is it hard?
Thanks every one for everything. Ill get some pics so all of the panic....ers like me can have some 2002 motivation!

i need spacers and longer lugs. oh boy. has anyone put in longer lugs? any sites to pick em up from? also need spacers probably .5"-1" for the back and may be more than 1" for the front just to get them flush with the fender. currently hitting some suspension...barley.

so its more lug-centric... I guess Ive never had problems with mine, but then again they are just chopped up factory wheels using the factory steel bore. Have you ever had any vibration issues with aftermarket wheels, or are your custom built to OEM bore and what not. I pulled my car out of storage (14yrs...jeeeez!) tires had flat spots, but after remounting, the flat spots were seemingly gone, but still had vibration. I dunno.. just bought some wheels tires are next and probably some spacers and longer lugs. ok ill stop rambling now. new post soon. carb adjustment. so get ready
thanks again!

Thanks Steve
I dont have a caliper to measure the hub... anyone know the dimension? do I need hubcentric rings if buying a wheel with a larger center bore or will the lug nuts center that up for me?
Thanks to all who have responded!

Nice site, thank you sir!

Right.. I saw that as well. But what would the new size be bumping up to a 15in wheel compared to a 13in currenty on the car. I feel that a 50 on a 15in wheel would be too big? Wheel size up... tire size down right?

Hey all, Im running some really old B.F. Goodrich BR50-13 tires on some 1971 custom welded wheels. the tires are 9.5in wide. Thinking about getting some 15" wheels with a 5.39" back spacing. Does anyone know the conversion from BR50-13 to say a 245/45 15? can I put 9.5in wide tires on an 8in wheel? or what would fit in that space? I have 4in flares so Id like to fill em up as they are now. any help would be greatly appreciated.
what do ya think of these? I think they would be siiiiiiiick. so there.

thanks for the tips! I think I just needed to do it... I thought it was gonna be a way bigger project than it really was. go motivation! Here are some pics for scared people like me.. you can do it!
here is the new master cylinder...the two bolts on the old one were so crusty that I could just take the nuts right off from the inside. (pic 3)
need to rip out the old crust carpet to get to the nuts.. carefull with the foamy cover.
here are the nuts... one above the rubber boot and one hiding underneath. tricky to put em back in. two people would have helped. but I can testify that a one man show can do it. long arms help.
now that I have the old carpet out I dont want to put it back in... anyone have a carpet kit??
Thanks all!

1970 2002...OK. the slave cylinder is done.. time for the master. Do I need to pull the pedal box for this? Ive been reading other posts and it sounds like I might. not sure tho. been through 4 different manuals but they all feature older/newer/different models.. but not mine If I pull the hydro lines and get the bolts off... I think I maybe answering my own question... the nuts are in the pedal box. gotta pull the carpet and plate to get to the nuts and clutch pedal connection right? anything else I may or may not need to consider?
Thanks for any help!

I would delete the last post if I could.. Fronts are 15x8 w/ 25et (offset) rears are 15x9 w/ 15et. correct me if Im wrong but If I got some 25mm spacers for the front and 15mm spacers for the rear that should make my offset 0. I would then need to get some +25 and +15mm lugs. right?
are the lugs measured in total length or are they from the knurling or thread?
Happy Sunday!
