  1. Thanks for all those who replied to my poll. I'm going to get the windows tinted when I get my 71. Just can't see letting it sit in a parking lot somewhere (when it does come out of the garage) with the Florida sun beating down heating up the inside & fading the interior. I'll take it to the same place my Toyota salesman sent me to when I got the windows of my Yaris tinted. Might not be original, but the car will cool down quicker & I won't run the risk of a sun-faded interior...

  2. Guess I should have done a topic search before posting my querry this morning, or should have asked if anyone had any recent experience. I'm going to ask for a client contact list. Any other folks out there that do resto/rebuild work? I really don't have the space & tools to do the work myself. At this point, I'm willing to pay a few bucks (okay, more than a few) so I can drool over a 2002 in my garage.

  3. I've been a Registered Dietitian for 22 years. It requires a bachelor's degreee & an internship. I did my internship with the US Army at Walter Reed. Part of the process was getting a direct commission & joining the Army. Not as bad as you may think; I was an officer & the medical side is a bit different than the rest of the Army. Actually wasn't bad-I was learning & getting paid. Most internships don't pay. My interhsip was 9 months. The current trend is to extend them to 12 months & you come out with a master's. Also, once you complete the internship, you are elegible to take the registration exam. Has not been a bad gig. I've spent my career working hospitals. If I had to do it again, I'd look at working the weight loss side or working with athletes & getting an advanced degree in exercise physiology/exercise science. Hope this helps. Bottom line: find something you are passionate about & if you're not having at least a little fun it just ain't worth doing! Best of luck with everything!
