I haven't seen the car in person, but from what I've heard it's a bucket with an engine swap.
If built properly I'm sure it's a blast to drive.
He's been trying to sell this car for quite some time now too.

If only I would of won powerball tonight!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320830585770+&viewitem#ht_500wt_1101
Any guesses what it'll end up going for?
I'm guessing 175-200k

My Stance Rota RB 13X8 +4 offset Fronts: custom coilovers, camber plates, strut bar, 2inch shortened struts. Back: Lowering springs, bilsteins sport shocks. Coilover perch is from 35 to 50 and its set on 40.
No info on the rear whees and what if any other spacers he's running in front. Reason I ask is cause I'd say the stance is about as perfect as it gets!
Cyclone101, no reason to act like a douche.

Updated Stance, 10mm spacers in back with extended studs; first photoshoot
Can you post some full size versions of the new pictures? I see a new desktop or two =)
Also, what are the exact specs on your wheels?

Can't wait to hear what this setup sounds like!
Should have a really tough sound to it.

The only thing good I can say about this abortion is that it sounds healthy...

For some reason I want to say KYB makes a Rabbit insert... I could be wrong though.

3rd place isn't bad considering the competition!

I've got a set of 13x6.5 et13 Borrani's I'm going to be letting go... They need a little work but super rare, especially in a 6.5" wide.
Email me if you want some more info.

Seats from my 76, they're worn out and ripped in the seat but solid and free.
Also the rear bumper from my 76. In decent shape with rubbers.
Pickup just south of Portland in milwaukie.
If nobody takes these in the next day or two they're headed to the trash.

Haha... Mine will be in the for sale section next week for $600+ shipping.
If nobody buys them you won't see me cry about it.

Mike is currently rebuilding Rusty.
It will live again.
That is awesome to hear... I thought I remember him saying it was just too far gone after the fire.
-
Interesting... I'm going to be putting my 13x6.5 et13 Borrani's that need to be restored up for sale here in the next few days but I'm expecting a bit more than $400.00
Guess I might end up keeping mine as well...

Beautiful! Is there a build thread for this somewhere?
-
No problem, glad I could help!

That would of been me...
Escrow.com has been around for a very long time and they're safe to use. I used them years ago when I purchased someones 911 project from the east coast.
My best advice is to really make sure you've gotten enough info to feel comfortable that this is the car you really want. Lot's of pictures and lots of details! If the car ends up being a total basket case it'll still end up costing you some money or a lot of time in negotiation with the seller to reach an agreement. So get all the details taken care of before you enter into an escrow agreement.
Always remember, a seller that won't give you the pictures you ask for or has a problem using an escrow service (as long as you are paying the fees) then they probably have something to hide. It's safer for buyer and the seller.
Sometimes it's cheaper to just hop on a plane and check it out yourself, at the time of my purchase I didn't have that option and a friend told me about them. My transaction went smoothly, buyer was paid what he wanted and I got what I was expecting and then some.
Here's more info on how it's done.

It is P.S. and Rusty is real... Love that car!
Rusty WAS real... I believe it was last year that Mike had a garage fire at his house and the car was finally put to rest.
It's too bad cause I really loved that car as well.
PS: Gabe I want your epsilons!

Definitely shopped... cool looking though. I dig the lowered roof line, it really changes everything about the car.
-
And a whole lot more money, could be REALLY cool though.
I honestly think I'd pick it up myself if it wasn't so far away.
-
I was waiting to see what it went for in in the end, looks like someone made a deal outside of ebay.
-
Are they lighted?
Yes, they're all backlighted.
Emails replied to... still for sale.

SOLD

Nice, I always enjoy good photos of a nice car... Which wheels are those? They remind me of some old Ronals.

I found a link to the photographers Flickr who shot the photo but sadly there's no other pictures of the car or info about it other than it was shot at the Canibeat/Stanceworks show 2011.
