  1. I'm looking for a set of four, decent (straight, no curb-rash or serious corrosion or bends) OEM/FPS/Cromodora-style alloy wheels with or without center caps. Must be willing/able to ship to Toronto, Canada at my expense of course. Thanks, Peter

  2. Johnny, try to find amber bulbs that have a silvery coating on them (I think they were developed during the Altezza craze a few years back). I had a set on my Mini Cooper S many years back. That car had white lenses in the front bumper with amber bulbs for turn signals or parking lamps (can't recall exactly) and the 'fried egg' look irritated me until I found a pair of chrome-ish bulbs on eBay that cleaned up the look...something like this:

Not sure of the actual bulb code you'd need but this would be a place to start.

Peter, received payment for housing, thanks, it seems two of the lenses are loose so you will need to reset them, the middle one seems tight,  I put one lens and bezel in a bag but the fuel/temp/oil side is also loose, so beware, it doesn't  fall out and break.  I will ship tomorrow

    Thanks, Joel

Thanks Joel...that's cool. As long as all of the bits are there, I'm happy...Peter

Are you just lookin for the instrment housing?  If so all the lenses are there but one needs to be reattached to housing,,$15 for housing only $ 5 for harness, I have the tach only, was a spare so I do not know if it works, it looks fine, $25 for tach, i will refund if it does not work. Thanks

Thanks...just after the instrument housing and lenses. Are you willing to ship to Toronto, Canada (postal M4X1M9)? If so, I'll take it.

This is actually very simple to do.  Hold the green double wire with your teeth and touch any of the red wires to anything metal.  Starts right up, and works every time!!!

Or, if Targa's advice doesn't work, you could try calling your local locksmith (I think the number is 9-1-1), tell them EXACTLY where you are and stay close to the car (ideally, face down on the hood or trunk--depending on where the battery is located, of course!) With any luck, someone will come by to help you right away...

  6. Hey Paul,

Here's a couple of suggestions for you; first, an east end B&B (looks a little homey/homely) but well-located and cheap. People seem pleased with it on TripAdvisor. (I live a block from this place...It's pretty quiet but close to downtown)

The other is a pretty cool, small hotel in the west end of downtown. It's a bit scene-y but most of our "B&T crowd" hangs out a bit further east. It's a bit more $$ but far from a corporate hotel experience. http://www.gladstonehotel.com/

Send me an email if I can help you out.

  7. I have a 1972 2002 Euro model parts car, complete (but not running) available on the east side of Vancouver Island. I had originally bought it on eBay to supply bits for my 72 project but discovered it too costly to ship a non-runner across country. So, I need to unload it immediately. The car is complete with Euro lights/bumpers and metric dashboard (no tach). The body is a bit of an unknown. There is likely a fair bit of rust (I've never seen the car in person before--I bought it sight unseen), The interior is all there, in fair condition (the door cards are unmolested). I will post pics as soon as I get back home. Email or post here for more info. Open to offers, hate to see these Euro parts go to waste! Thanks.
