I'm overhauling my heater box. Resistor springs and connectors on the riveted fiber board are rusted, brittle, and breaking under the slightest stress. Is there an alternative to the OEM resistor? I've got a '75.

White plastic hub is tight to shaft. Metal fan is not tight to plastic hub. I believe it is supposed to be, right?. If I hold the fan I can spin the hub and shaft within it without too much effort. Is there a way to lock the plastic hub to the fan once it has loosened up like this?

Update: I got the "Dorman 973-430 Blower Motor Resistor Kit" from Amazon for $14. Installed and works great. Could have just bought the Resistor alone. Really don't need the kit plug, the individual existing wires plugged right on. See photo for wire colors for a '75. Tip your head to the left first.
