This is a (rare) Roll Bar that fits perfectly for BMW 1600 or BMW 2002 Models (1968-1976).

It is horseshoe shaped and has two bolt holes on the side which can bolt on the seat belt assembly

or be welded to car. The is also a four bolt pattern on the bottom of both sides if you want to bolt it to the floor as an option.

I will take $100 or best offer.

I prefer not to ship it if possible.

However, I Will be traveling to Pennsylvania this week, so I can deliver it needed. Going through CT, NY, NJ, and Penn.

Call me this week - Frank (401) 212-1335

    Located in East Providence, RI

  4. After owning 20+ 2002's I have seen this before.

I had this happen once too after a local place rebuilt my alternator and used their own bushings instead of BMW orginal parts.

You can try this: Put a small amount of grease around bolt and it will slide into the bushings much easier, the take a hammer to it.

This should work...if not replace the bushings again, they are probably not the correct ones.

  5. It is most definitely that the pistons in your calipers are not pushed back far enough. Try pushing them back in as far as possible, or it might be a sign to get your caipers rebuilt. Definitely worth it if you plan to keep the car. It is a breeze to put in new brake pad after having the calipers rebuilt.
