You are asking for a lawsuit in my opinion.  There has to be more adult ways to resolve.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

I bought a mirror from him. I needed a flag and he sent the other style. I contacted him and he said ship it back and he refunded no problem.

I've had several dealings with him in person. I have found him to be very easy to work with and a great supporter of the 02 hobby. Not sure of the situation here but my experience is very different from what was described.

So who's the dipshit illiterate that made the craigslist ad?

Based on a careful textual analysis (and, oh yeah, some comments in this thread: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/145160-flood-sale/ ), I suspect, but cannot verify, that the aggrieved party posting the Craigslist ad is wmass2002, a.k.a., "the member formerly known as strictlyvanagon".

His style is...distinctive!

I have purchased from Bryce without problem.

I have purchased '02 items twice from Bryce.  Both transactions were very smooth.  The items were exactly as described and delivered promptly.  Our email conversations during those transactions led me to the opinion that he is knowledgable about, and involved with 2002s and our community.  I'm hardpressed  to reconcile my experiences with the description provided by the complainer.  Frankly, I'm skeptical of the charges leveled and, until I see some proof, I'm prone to disregard them.

I haven't bought any parts from him yet, but I had a very pleasant, lengthy conversation with him today.

I've been dealing with car guys for more than 40 years and, in my estimation, he is a real car guy and not some charlatan as described by the OP.

He couldn't have been more pleasant or personable and seems very genuine and generous with his time.  I expect I will be buying parts from him in the near future.

Regards, Maurice.

I too have bought parts from Bryce. Nice guy, he will take time to work with you. He is quick to make a phone call to work things out if needed. I have nothing bad to say about Bryce except maybe he is parting out cars that could be kept on the road with a little work.

I did buy some door seals that were not up to my expectations. He took the parts back for a full credit towards more 02 stuff.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
