  1. Put together the front subframe components in prep for installation down the road. Also refurbished, tested motor and added new cover to wiper mechanism
  2. Nothing happening but waiting, either for orders to come or chrome / polishing work to be completed. Since I'm waiting on the euro bumper to line up the new mounting holes, I haven't been motivated to progress. Tonight I broke down and assembled the rear subframe. I'm using urethane bushings, adjustable ST swaybar and stock subframe mounts. All hardware is new along with the stub axles bearings. I will be putting together the 250 mm brakes this coming week.
  3. Got an Ireland Engineering urethane transmission mount a couple months ago. Decided to stick with OE rubber mounts all round. Never used it, still in the bubble wrapping from when I received it. Looking to get $30 for it, PM if interested. Thanks
  4. Hello! I've recently bought some urethane bushings. I'm looking at how to get them installed on my car, and have a couple of questions. When I removed the stock rubber from the differential hanger mount, a little metal "spacer" (I don't know the correct word) was left in the hole. See the picture below. Should I fit the urethane bushing with the metal still there, or should I remove it before pressing it in? https://www.dropbox.com/s/7l0m550qefa85bq/Photo%2030-06-14%2019.39.53.jpg Furthermore, I might be interested in casting some mounts/bushings of my own, particularily the rear subframe mounts. Would you guys recommend casting these in a mold, and then pressing them in, or would simply pouring the resin directly into the rear subframe mount hold just fine? PS: If anyone has any good ideas on how to easily install these, I'd be happy to listen!
  5. Hi, I have a query about the fit of urethane bushes to replace the stock rubber ones. I installed some new Energy Suspension bushes on the front sub-frame over the weekend and noticed that the front end ones that hold the tension strut/rod were very loose. The two halves of the bushing were tight up against one another when it was all bolted together, however there was a lot of play and wiggle room. I can't imagine that this is normal ? Should I perhaps trim down the length of these bushings to create a tighter fit ? Has anyone come across this before ? Any thoughts would be really helpful as I don't want to end up with some more serious problem further down the line from driving on them like this. cheers G
